Bollywood & Kathak Dance Classes

Bollywood is a beautiful blend of classical Indian dance, folk Indian dance or the more current R&B, hip-hop music. From the upbeat music to the colorful costumes, Bollywood is a celebration of Indian culture.

Kathak is one of the eight forms of Indian classical dance that traces its origins to the nomadic bards of ancient northern India, known as Kathakars or storytellers.

Our Story

Rhythmaya Dance began as Bollywood and Kathak Dance Academy in the DC Metro area, but over the years has evolved into the business of instilling culture and confidence into young individuals in our global community.

​

With 6 locations and 25 experienced instructors, our students get various performance opportunities and get to be part of a wonderful learning community. Additionally, we provide special choreography workshops for Weddings and other large and small celebratory events. We offer an array of beautiful costumes available for rental for both children and adults to choose from.

​

We also have a performance troupe and interactive dancers to come add a splash of color to your corporate event, wedding, birthday party or just a family gathering. Are you ready to get up and move?
