NoBE Kathak Begginer Fall 2024

Service Description

This is a great introduction to Kathak where we will learn the fundamentals of various haasthakas (arms), mudras (hands), taatkar (footwork), chaakars (spins) and taals (rhythms). Drop off and pick up is highly recommended. Bring your own water bottle. Kurta recommended. Ghungoroos applicable after they pass their first exam in December! Limited spots available. We are excited for the Fall '24 schedule to kick off and to be back in the studio and continue our virtual sessions. This hybrid model will allow flexibility for our students to enjoy the few holidays sprinkled into the Fall. Fall 2024 - 12 Classes (10 in person + 1 Online + 1 Exam + 3 Virtual Theory Sessions Every 3rd Wednesday) Sept 8, 15, 18 (VIRTUAL THEORY), 22, 29 Oct 6 , 13 (OFF), 16 (VIRTUAL THEORY), 20, 27 Nov 3, 10, 17, 20 (VIRTUAL THEORY) 24 (Online) Dec 1 (Off), Dec 2 - 10 (Exam Week) Registration for Spring 2025 will be in November. We will resume classes Jan 12th for the Spring Showcase (Save the Date for Saturday April 5, 2025 at Capital One Theater).
